What are peripherals?
Different types of peripherals.
Peripherals
A peripheral is a piece of computer hardware such as a printer, camera or scanner that is added to a host computer in order to expand its abilities further. Technically the term peripheral is used to describe the optional devices that can be attached to computer as opposed to those that are not optional such the hard drive or the processor.
Input device
Computer input devices give users with the skill to control hardware and software functions. Input procedures also overtake data to the computer. This information can come in many forms, as well as text, images and audio. There are batches of input devices you can use with a computer, but they all tend to achieve a related set of functions.
Computer input devices include many types of hardware such as a keyboard, mouse, webcam, scanner and microphone.

Output device
Output devices communicate the reply from the computer in the form of an optical reply monitor, sound speakers or media devices CD or DVD drives. The reason of these devices is to explain the machine's reply to a useful form for the computer user.
Cabling - Coaxial
Coaxial Cable is a type of wire that is used for TVs and computers. In computers it is used to connect to the network card. Some older computer still use the less expansive telephone wire but coaxial cable can transfer more data. This feature of coaxial cable makes the internet connection faster.
Cabling - Optical
Optical cables are used for internet connectivity. As optical fibre cable transfer data fast they are ideal for internet connections, optical fibre cable give the fastest internet connection at these time.
Cabling – Twisted Pair
Twisted-Pair cable is used by older telephone network; Most network wires contain some twisted-pair cabling at some point along the network cable. Twisted-Pair cable is made up of two insulated wires twisted around one another. The use of two wires twisted together helps to reduce some types of interference.
Input - Keyboard
The keyboard is used to type text and numbers into a word processor, text editor or other program. Keyboard is also used for computer gaming, give instructions to the working system of a computer, such as windows. Control-Alt-Delete combination, which brings up an assignment window or shuts down the machine.
Input - Mouse
A mouse is a handheld pointing machine used to place a pointer on a computer monitor. This allows the consumer to choose things stored on a computer and, afterwards, make presentation on those items.
Input - Scanner
A Scanner Is used to Scan And arrange Pictures for magazine. You Can Also create a copy of The Pictures Or Crop The Picture To Make Them Smaller. You can also make quick copies, or change the setting on printer control panel to perform exact copy.
Input - Microphone
The function of a microphone is to receive your noise emission and translates it to proper machine understandable for and the transmits it as an electrical pulses to the middle processing unit for processing
Output - Plotter
The function of plotter is to print out pages much bigger than you can get on a regular printer for example: newspaper etc. and also the plotter was used in old days instead of printer
Output – Printer
Printer Is used to produce a hard copy of documents stored in an electronic form onto material print. In computing, a printer is a peripherial which is used to produce a text or graphics of documents stored.
